Job Overview:- Develop, maintain, and analyze detailed construction schedules to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Utilize advanced scheduling tools and data-driven analysis to identify risks, optimize sequencing, and proactively resolve potential delays.
- Collaborate with field, operations, estimating, finance, and business development teams to align schedules with project goals and real-world conditions.
- Monitor schedule performance, critical paths, and resource allocation while providing clear, actionable reporting to Project Teams.
- Support project success from preconstruction through closeout by integrating safety, contractual, and financial considerations into scheduling strategies.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules aligned with project scope, field conditions, and contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with operations and field teams to monitor progress, identify delays, and optimize workflows and resource allocation.
- Support estimating efforts by integrating cost data, labor projections, and sequencing into project schedules and bid timelines.
- Perform critical path analysis and schedule impact assessments to proactively address risks and changes.
- Provide scheduling support during business development pursuits, including proposals, RFPs, and client presentations.
- Align scheduling strategies with financial objectives by forecasting impacts, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and tracking variances.
- Integr strategies into all project schedules to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate scheduling documentation, reports, and records for transparency and communication.
- Review and manage schedule-related contract requirements, milestones, claims, and dispute support.
- Leverage and continuously improve scheduling technologies, software tools, and automation to enhance efficiency.
- Lead and communicate schedule objectives, updates, and best practices across cross-functional teams while contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in construction scheduling or engineering roles.
- Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and compliance requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Valid California driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check for badging at facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of five (5) years of combined education and experience within the construction industry.
