Under general supervision of HR Operations Supervisor, performs other related work as required. Salary $21/hr-$24/hr
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Promptly greets all visitors to main lobby in a warm and professional manner, answers questions, and screens/directs inquiries to the appropriate parties.
- Maintains guest lobby area so it is pleasant and neat at all times.
- Answers, screens, and forwards incoming phones and emails.
- Keeps detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received.
- Performs various administrative duties such as entering information into databases, organizes and maintains files, makes copies, collects forms/documents, or creates flyers.
- Issues visitor badges to approved visitors and coordinates with other Kingston employees to escort guests in compliance with Kington internal security policies.
- Assists with Ergonomic Requisition s.
- Assists in managing company gym safety protocol to ensure all gym visitors follow check in procedures.
- Assists in planning company events, meetings, luncheons, and employee team building activities.
- Oversees mail deliveries, packages, and couriers to the front desk.
- Takes inventory of office supplies and restocks as needed
- Performs other duties assigned.
GUIDELINES (ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS):
- Punctual with a strong attendance history a must
- Must have a professional demeanor and able to maintain composure in busy office environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel) and Teams. Publisher or similar software desirable.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and enforce security policies while creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere
- Highly organized multitasker with good time management skills
EDUCATION/
EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years prior administrative or clerical experience
