Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store.

Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store
• Experience in retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement
• Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests seeking assistance to help solve their needs
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Execute daily tasks to achieve goals aligned with business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas
• If certified, operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures
• Execute processes such as price changes, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed
• Learn how procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
• Work safely; comply with safety policies, report hazards, and correct where possible
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking/packing orders, delivery/pickup) while complying with laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• You enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and team members
• You thrive in a fast-moving, active, and physically demanding environment where teamwork and flexibility are key
• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times)

• Ability to use handheld scanners and technology as directed

• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
• Remain focused in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks within time frames

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb ladders; scan, move, and handle merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments while performing duties
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift
