Senior Cook – Full Time

Location:

Zoox – 4100 East 3rd Avenue, Foster City, CA 94404. Online applications only.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (Full‑time). Details to be discussed during interview.

Compensation: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour.

Internal employee referral bonus available.

Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored while meeting all applicable federal, state, local, and company standards, guidelines, and regulations.

• May oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by the Food Service Director.
• Prepares a variety of entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operates and cleans equipment after each use; performs scheduled routine cleaning.
• Stores, labels, and dates food items according to policy; helps maintain organized storage of dry goods, refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Complies with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Assists the Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assists with the cross‑training of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Previous cooking experience required.
