Associate Scientist - Biology II

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Associate Scientist II for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Foster City, CA
. Details for the position are as follows:

• Pay: $40-44.54/hr.
• 9-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.

• Characterization of immune parameters such as cell expansion and phenotype, from ex vivo blood samples from pre-clinical mouse studies with engineered human CAR T cells
• Process and analyze ex vivo blood samples through flow cytometry, molecular biology and other analytical techniques
• Check antigen expression by flow cytometry of tumor cell lines for use in in vivo studies
• Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Present and participate in project team meetings and cross-departmental team meetings
• Share core values such as passion, teamwork, integrity and trust

• Master’s Degree and 2+ years OR Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with multi-color flow cytometry and complex fluorochrome-conjugated antibody panels
• Immunology background, with experience in phenotypic analysis of multiple human immune cell populations and markers of activation/exhaustion
• Experience in data analysis software including Flow Jo, Graph Pad Prism and Client FACSDiva
• Experience in additional molecular biology techniques such as ddPCR
• Demonstrated ability to independently conduct analyses while working efficiently as part of a team
