Pay Range: $28‑32/hr (based on experience)
Work Location/Structure: Hybrid – Foster City, CA (initial 5 days/week in‑office for training, then minimum 3 days/week in‑office)
About the OpportunityOur client, a leader in Autonomous Vehicle Technology, is looking for a skilled Labeling Technician to join their team for a 6‑month engagement. This project involves creating, maintaining, and validating their semantic road network data to support the integrity of their cutting‑edge autonomous mapping system. This is a high‑impact role that requires a detail‑oriented, highly motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly, ensuring the highest standards of precision for a critical mapping system.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Create and maintain semantic road network data.
- Ensure map content aligns with road geometry and adheres to established content requirements.
- Validate road network data for accuracy, correctness, and consistency with real‑world conditions.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to troubleshoot and resolve mapping‑related issues.
- Meet deadlines and contribute to high‑stakes company goals.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a data‑intensive environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret spatial data for informed decision‑making.
- Experience in a fast‑paced work environment with adaptability to changing priorities.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to interpret spatial data for informed decision‑making.
- Background in mapping, cartography, or map content validation.
- Prior experience in data labeling, annotation, or quality assurance.
- Passion for autonomous vehicle technology and geospatial data.
