Overview
We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Downstream Process Scientist for a prominent client. This position is located in Foster City, CA.
Job Description- $64.39/hr to Start!!
- This position is a 1 year assignment with possibility of extension or conversion.
- On-Site on Monday–Friday
- Position will be responsible for executing high throughput purification (HTP) workflows for upstream/cell culture samples to support downstream process characterization.
- Position will also develop, qualify, and refine HTP purification assays and microscale purification methods.
- Position will also operate, optimize, and maintain automated liquid handling systems such as Tecan and Hamilton platforms.
- B.S./M.S. degree is Required.
- Expertise developing and executing HTP purification assays, including automated liquid handling systems such as Tecan, Hamilton, and microscale chromatography platforms is Required.
- Experience with chromatography (e.g., AKTA, plate based), filtration, and standard downstream techniques is Required.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem solving skills is Required.
