Bertram Capital is seeking an Investment Associate to join the firm’s investment team within the Industrials vertical for a Summer 2026 start date. These founding team members work closely with Bertram’s Principals and Partners across a mix of opportunities for new investments. The role will expose you to the full spectrum of private equity investing, including evaluation of new platform investments, add‑on acquisitions, investment thesis development, portfolio management, and deal execution.

• Evaluate and recommend new platform investments.
• Conduct due diligence and prepare investment memoranda.
• Identify and execute add‑on acquisitions.
• Develop and refine investment theses.
• Assist in portfolio company strategy and operations.
• Participate in deal execution and portfolio management.

• 1–3 years investment banking experience (depending on level).
• Undergraduate degree (minimum 3.5 GPA or equivalent) and high ACT/SAT scores.
• Fluency with financial statements, modeling, and capital structure.
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple work streams concurrently.
• Interest and aptitude for portfolio company strategy and operations.
• Strong analytical skills, strategic insight, industry perspective, and intellectual curiosity.
• Self‑starter with excellent oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience working as a productive team member.
• High proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

The expected salary range for this position is: $220,000–$250,000 total annual compensation plus an additional annual bonus beginning after one year of tenure. Offered salary may be based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, and qualifications for the role.
