What's the Job?- Design and develop hardware and electromechanical systems for autonomous steering and chassis actuators using CATIA V6.
- Conduct performance analysis through static, dynamic, and thermal-mechanical simulations and tests to ensure structural integrity and optimal performance.
- Lead collaboration with tier one suppliers to develop, release, and validate components and firmware aligned with project milestones.
- Manage end-to-end hardware schedules, identify technical risks, and ensure timely delivery of components and systems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including AI, manufacturing, and vehicle engineering to integrate hardware with software and systems effectively.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 6+ years of experience in complex hardware development.
- Expert proficiency in CATIA V6 and GD&T (ASME Y14.5) standards for vehicle components.
- Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, vehicle dynamics, and functional safety (ISO 26262).
- Experience managing product lifecycle from rapid prototyping to high-volume production, including DFM/DFA and tooling validation.
- Familiarity with automotive release processes, project scheduling, and supplier management.
