Job Title: CAD Engineer
Location: Foster City, CA
Pay Range: $79 per Hour
What’s the Job?- Design changes and modifications of CAD models based on guidance from part owners
- Develop and mature CAD designs through interactive iterations with team members
- Create clean sheet modeling including schematics and initial design iterations
- Update and revise drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements
- Generate standard model library content that is fully parametric and adaptable for various applications
- Proficiency in CATIA V6 and 3DX software for generating fully parametric solids
- Strong knowledge of plastic and metallic part design, including manufacturing processes
- Ability to create robust designs with proper attachment and datum systems
- Understanding of tolerance stack-ups and basic mechanical integration requirements
- Experience in developing Class-A Design Surface data and generating/modifying drawings according to ASME Y14.5 standards with GD&T expertise
