San Mateo-Foster City School District seeks Para‑Educator I extended day teachers' assistants to support after‑school program students of Pre‑K through 8th grade. Assist teachers in planning, supervising, curriculum development, classroom arrangement, organization, and maintenance; provide instructional support and learning enrichment using developmentally appropriate practices and materials; monitor child safety, perform housekeeping functions, and assist in physical care and feeding of children;

perform related duties as required.

• Bayside: 4.5 hrs/day M, T, Th, F 2:00 pm–6:00 pm & Wed 11:30 am–6:00 pm; 6.5 hrs/day M, T, W, Th, F 11:30 am–6:00 pm
• Fiesta Gardens: 4.5 hrs/day M, T, Th, F 2:00 pm–6:00 pm & Wed 11:30 am–6:00 pm
• Laurel: 4.5 hrs/day M, T, Th, F 2:00 pm–6:00 pm & Wed 11:30 am–6:00 pm; 6.5 hrs/day M, T, W, Th, F 11:30 am–6:00 pm

• Roving: 4.2 hrs/day M, T, Th, F 2:00 pm–6:00 pm & Wed 1:00 pm–6:00 pm; 6.5 hrs/day M, T, W, Th, F 11:30 am–6:00 pm (2 Positions); 8.0 hrs/day M, T, W, Th, F 7:00–8:30 am & 11:30 am–6:00 pm (Roving)

• High school diploma or higher; proof of HS graduation required.
• Associate’s degree or higher; proof can waive required testing.
• CPR Certificate and First Aid required.
• Reading, math & writing test required unless waived based on prior education/experience.
