Additional Salary Info: $1,000 towards Medical for employee and/or family;

Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Director of Child Nutrition Services, this role assists with planning, directing, organizing, implementing, and coordinating all aspects of district Child Nutrition Programs to ensure nutritious, cost‑effective meals for all students. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, filling in for the Director as needed, performing professional‑level food service work, managing site kitchen operations, supervising personnel, evaluating performance, recommending discipline, and developing procedures to solve problems.

Licenses & Certificates: Valid California driver’s license; valid food safety certificate issued by an approved provider per California Health and Safety Code, Section 113947; perform 10 hours of annual continuing education/training units per 7

210; at least an Associate’s Degree with coursework in restaurant management/food service or a closely related field.
Additional Qualifications: Ability to fill in for Director, independent judgment, procedural knowledge, and communication skills.
