Job Summary
The San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking a Child Nutrition Services Supervisor to oversee district-wide child nutrition programs. Responsibilities include planning, directing, implementing, and coordinating all aspects of the district Child Nutrition Programs to ensure student access to nutritious and cost‑effective meals; ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws; serving as the lead supervisor to Child Nutrition Services personnel;
evaluating performance; recommending discipline and resolving grievances; filling for the Director during absences.
Qualifications
- Valid California driver’s license
- Food safety certificate issued by an approved provider (California Health and Safety Code Section 113947)
- 10 hours of continuing education/training units per 7

210 - 3 letters of recommendation (Letter of Introduction, Letter(s) of Recommendation), Resume
- Experience supervising school nutrition service work and knowledge of federal/state/local child nutrition regulations
Compensation
Pay Range $108,385 - $129,224 Annually; 24 vacation days per year, 12 sick days per year; monthly cap for health benefits; term life insurance $75,000.
