to join their team for a 6+ month engagement. This project involves owning the end-to-end editorial process for brand campaigns, internal communications, product demos, and social content, from pre-production collaboration to final delivery. This is a high-impact role that requires a self‑motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead editing and post‑production for brand and marketing content, ensuring creative and technical excellence.
- Engage early in pre‑production: collaborate with producers, directors, and creative leads on scripts, outlines, and shot lists to anticipate editorial flow.
- Serve as on‑set DIT when needed: manage media ingest, data integrity, color LUTs, log profiles, backups, and workflow handoffs.
- Oversee the post pipeline: rough cuts, fine cuts, graphics integration, sound design, and finishing, delegating effectively.
Mentor junior editors and freelancers, and contribute to documentation and workflow playbooks to help scale editorial operations.
RequiredSkills & Experience:
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of professional editing experience across brand, product, event, and social content.
- Deep expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Audition); familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and Frame.io. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Proven ability to thrive in a tech or corporate environment, balancing strategy and storytelling.
- Experience contributing to pre‑production planning and on‑set DIT proficiency (media management, data wrangling, color pipeline).
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team, and a highly organized approach to managing multiple concurrent projects.
