Job Overview
Superintendent of Bridges (Structures) reporting to Manager, Operations. Full-time, Fort St. John BC, salary $95,000-$110,000.
Responsibilities- Prioritize safety of self and others.
- Manage bridge projects, supervise maintenance and repair.
- Conduct detailed bridge inspections, instruct crews on safety, enforce regulations.
- Arrange delivery of necessary materials, tools and equipment.
- Maintain contact with Ministry of Transportation, Transit, public and external organizations.
- Minimum 5 years bridge work or road maintenance/construction experience.
- Minimum 3 years supervisory role.
- Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license required.
- Valid Certificate of Qualification in Piledriver and Bridgeman required.
- BC Crane operator ticket an asset.
