In accordance with established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family centered care model. The LPN, as part of the multidisciplinary team, provides care to persons experiencing substance use and mental health disorders.

The LPN performs assessments, plan, implements and provided personal and nursing care under the direction of the Program Lead (or designate) or RN/RPN.
