Job Overview
Are you a registered Cardiology Technologist looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Cardiac Testing‑ECG/Holter department.
Responsibilities and Scope of WorkIn accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of the Manager or designate, the Cardiology Technologist performs techniques relating to electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, Holter and event recorders, pacemaker monitoring, and other types of diagnostic cardiac equipment.
Shift Rotation / Hours of WorkShift rotation/hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days – 08:00 to 16:00.
LocationDawson Creek & District Hospital is a full‑service community hospital that provides services to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. The current hospital has 31 acute‑care beds and 15 regional adult psychiatric beds. It serves as the orthopaedic trauma and surgical centre for the northeast region of BC. A new facility is projected to open in spring 2027, offering increased capacity and modern patient‑care spaces.
