Position Summary
Are you a registered Cardiology Technologist looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Cardiac Testing-ECG/Holter department.
In accordance with established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Cardiology Technologist performs techniques relating to Electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, Holter and event Recorders, pacemaker monitoring, and other types of diagnostic cardiac equipment.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:00 to 16:00

Dawson Creek and District Hospital is a full-service community hospital that provides service to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. It has 31 Acute Care beds and 15 regional adult psychiatric beds. Dawson Creek is the Orthopaedic Trauma and Surgical centre for the Northeast Region of BC. Services include:

Ability to teach clients and others both one-on-one and in groups.

Demonstrated ability to organize work, set objectives, and establish priorities. Manages time and resources, implements activities to promote cooperation among the interdisciplinary team, supervises responsibilities of others, and collaborates across disciplines.
Promotes staff morale, engagement, and risk-taking. Demonstrates creative planning for change and innovations, implementation of NH policies or other protocols, and ongoing professional development of self and others.
Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and a commitment to excellence in the provision of client care.
