Specialist, Environmental Compliance Programs

The Specialist, Environmental Compliance Programs (Specialist) is part of the Pipelines & External Audit Branch and will lead, plan, and execute management system or program-based audits to assess the performance of industry’s activities and programs against established criteria based on relevant legislation, policy, and best practices with a focus on environmental performance. This position works closely with other Divisions to develop, implement and execute the BCER’s External Audit Program.

In addition, this position works closely with the Supervisor, Pipelines & Audit to administer the Regulator’s methane emissions reduction program.

Location: Fort St John or Kelowna or Victoria

Salary: $76,313.27 - $86,898.73 – Permanent Full-Time, based on a 35-hour work week.

An additional 10.75% Job Family Market Multiplier will be added to the posted salary.

An additional 3% Location Allowance will be added to posted salary for northern location.
