Plant & Field Operator​/4th Class Power Engineer

Our customer, a major oil and gas company is looking for a Plant & Field Operator who also holds their 4th Class Power Engineering to join their busy team at their facility located 40 mins outside of Fort Saint John. This is a local position to the Fort Saint John area; camp or accommodations are not provided. This position will begin in the field on an 8/6 rotation, but will ideally transition into the plant.

• 5+ years of previous operating experience as a Production Operator in both plant or field environments
• Must be a motivated, strong team player with proven leadership skills and high safety standards
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Proven computer skills in Outlook, Word and Excel and to be comfortable in the operation of distributed control Scada systems
• Have the ability to shift priorities and focus, and to maintain schedules in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License (A driver’s abstract is required) and current certification in H2S Alive and First Aid.
