Intermediate​/Senior Engineer – Natural Gas Facility

Our client is looking for an experienced Engineer to support operations at their natural gas facility near Fort St John. The successful candidate will bring 5–10 years of engineering experience, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can take ownership of projects from start to finish.

Candidates must be local to either Fort St John or Dawson Creek as no camp or accommodations will be provided.

• Manage engineering projects from concept through to completion, with a strong focus on documentation and project coordination.
• Prepare, review, and approve technical reports, drawings, and project paperwork.
• Provide engineering expertise and “stamping” capabilities in compliance with British Columbia regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives at the plant through technical problem-solving and innovation.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory, safety, and company standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical/Process preferred; Mechanical, Civil, or other disciplines considered).
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation with stamping authority in British Columbia (mandatory).
• 5–10 years of engineering experience, ideally in natural gas, oil & gas, or related heavy industry.
• Strong project management skills and experience handling technical paperwork and regulatory documentation.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently without close supervision.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
