Gas Plant​/Field Operator

Techmation Electric & Controls is looking for an experienced Gas Plant/Field Operator with a 4th Class engineering certificate to join for our Fort St John branch. Individuals must be knowledgeable about current OH&S legislation, and conversant with the industry standards and practices of today’s safety-focused Oil & Gas sector.

Shift schedule is variable. Due to the nature of this project, no camp or LOA is available. Candidates must live within the Fort St John region to be considered.

Requirements:

• Must have a 4th class engineering certificate
• Gas plant/field operating experience is an asset
• Plant consists of Amine, dehy, compression, sulphur extraction
• Must have current Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and CSO certificates
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work within a team environment are required
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone and complete routine tasks
• Preference will be given to applicants within the immediate Fort St John area
