Tremblay Elementary SchoolLocated in the heart of Dawson Creek, Tremblay Elementary is an energetic Kindergarten to Grade 7 school, home to approximately 190 students. We’re also fortunate to have a Family Support Worker who helps connect families with community services, and a team of Educational Assistants who provide meaningful support throughout the school day.
Tremblay Elementary is proud to offer a breakfast/snack program for all students and a hot lunch program available daily, ensuring every child has the nourishment they need to learn and thrive.

Required Qualifications And Experience- Hold, or be qualified for, a valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate
- Successful K‑12 teacher training and practicum or evaluation documentation
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Experience with adapting, and modifying, curriculum to meet the needs of students
- Ability to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with diverse needs
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience working with students who display a variety of behaviours
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Willingness to work and implement school initiatives and goals
- Capacity to work independently and in collaboration with a team
- Committed to individualized and group instruction utilizing a variety of effective strategies and techniques
- Experience teaching in a multiage group setting
- Engages in fair, student focused assessment practices consistent with the BC curriculum and reporting order, and reflects on evidence of learning to guide instruction
Collaboration, support, contemporary learning spaces and resources are part of the fabric of School District No. 59. Professional Learning Communities, Foundations for Learning and regular professional development are available and readily accessible for all teachers.
