Located in the heart of Dawson Creek, Tremblay Elementary is an energetic Kindergarten to Grade 7 school, home to approximately 190 students. We’re also fortunate to have a Family Support Worker who helps connect families with community services, and a team of Educational Assistants who provide meaningful support throughout the school day.

Tremblay Elementary is proud to offer a breakfast/snack program for all students and a hot lunch program available daily, ensuring every child has the nourishment they need to learn and thrive.

• Hold, or be qualified for, a valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate
• Successful K‑12 teacher training and practicum or evaluation documentation
• Legally eligible to work in Canada

• Experience with adapting, and modifying, curriculum to meet the needs of students
• Ability to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with diverse needs
• Strong classroom management skills
• Experience working with students who display a variety of behaviours
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Willingness to work and implement school initiatives and goals
• Capacity to work independently and in collaboration with a team
• Committed to individualized and group instruction utilizing a variety of effective strategies and techniques
• Experience teaching in a multiage group setting
• Engages in fair, student focused assessment practices consistent with the BC curriculum and reporting order, and reflects on evidence of learning to guide instruction
