Description

Northern Lights College's Continuing Education Department is looking to hire an individual with experience in Cooking and has a passion for instructing youth. Camps will run in July or August for a duration of 5 consecutive days, 9:30am – 3:00pm, and will be focused on youth in grades 8 through 12. The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass a Police Information Check prior to the start of the contract.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Subject matter expert
  • Certification of Qualification with cooking
  • Minimum of 2-year recent industry experience in the cooking industry
  • Understanding of safety in the classroom and teaching the students
  • Committed to student motivation and success
  • Ability to collaborate as an effective team member
  • Current, valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of rules and regulation of specific trade
