DescriptionNorthern Lights College's Continuing Education Department is looking to hire an individual with experience in Cooking and has a passion for instructing youth. Camps will run in July or August for a duration of 5 consecutive days, 9:30am – 3:00pm, and will be focused on youth in grades 8 through 12. The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass a Police Information Check prior to the start of the contract.
QualificationsRequired:
- Subject matter expert
- Certification of Qualification with cooking
- Minimum of 2-year recent industry experience in the cooking industry
- Understanding of safety in the classroom and teaching the students
- Committed to student motivation and success
- Ability to collaborate as an effective team member
- Current, valid driver's license
- Knowledge of rules and regulation of specific trade
