Material Handler Job Description
Work closely with the Chef and Sous Chefs, playing a key role in ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly. Responsible for re-stocking vegetables and kitchen ingredients, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring the efficient operation of loading and off-loading trucks on designated days.
Responsibilities- Restock all vegetables and kitchen ingredients.
- Control and manage inventory efficiently.
- Operate a pallet jack for loading and off-loading trucks on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
- Manage loading and unloading processes accurately.
- Utilize RF scanning technology for inventory purposes.
- Provide excellent customer service in shipping and receiving processes.
- Experience in loading, inventory, and shipping/receiving.
- Proficient in loading and unloading trucks.
- Knowledge of inventory management and RF scanning.
- Ability to work in cold storage environments.
- Experience with pallet jack operation.
Skills & Qualifications
- Attention to detail.
- Experience as a Material Handler or in Shipping.
- Valid driver's license.

Work EnvironmentWork Monday to Friday from 7 am to 4 pm, with weekend shifts during the football season starting in August. Be prepared to work 6-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays during this period. The cafeteria closes for a month in May, with operations resuming in June. Note that in August, there will be no days off for 45 days. Prepare to work in a fast‑paced and occasionally cold storage environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.
