Trailer Technician – Amerit Fleet Solutions
Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the United States, is looking to hire a skilled Trailer Mechanic/Technician. The role involves repair and maintenance of Class 7‑8 trailers and operating vehicles to test all parts for proper operation.
CompensationCompetitive hourly pay: $25‑$28/hr, paid weekly every Friday. SRT bonus opportunity up to $15,000 annually, paid monthly based on performance.
ShiftTuesday – Saturday, 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm.

- Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and electronically
- Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare required safety documentation

- Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
- Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on the vehicle
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies/procedures
- Perform other duties as required
- Minimum two years of experience performing vehicle and trailer maintenance
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly
- Ability to enter and exit the driver’s compartment of the truck and/or behind the cab using standard footholds and handholds
- Must provide own hand tools
- Perform DOT inspections
- Basic computer skills
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
