The Driver/Activities Assistant is responsible for the transportation of residents as scheduled and for maintaining and daily checks on the bus and other vehicles used for transportation. The role also involves assisting with resident activities when no appointments are scheduled.
Duties- Assist residents in entering and/or exiting vehicle or bus, ensuring they are safely secured according to motor vehicle laws.
- Assist residents by delivering packages or purchases obtained while out on shopping excursions, activities, etc.
- Obey all state motor vehicle and driving laws at all times, ensuring the safe transportation of residents.
- Maintain a log of who goes on vehicles and carry the Emergency Contact Sheet of all on board.
- Provide meaningful and engaging opportunities for our residents to thrive and improve their overall health and spirit through our 6-dimensional engagement program.
