Certified Personal Trainer

Overview

The Person al Trainer will provide one-on-one personal training services to male members of Mira Vista Country Club, inside the Men's Fitness Center. Trainers operate as independent contractors and are compensated through a percentage of personal training revenue.

• Deliver safe, effective, and individualized personal training sessions
• Maintain a professional presence aligned with private club standards
• Communicate clearly with members regarding scheduling and goals
• Adhere to all club policies, procedures, and facility guidelines
• Maintain proper documentation and billing information as required
• Work collaboratively with club management and fitness staff

• Current, nationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, or equivalent)
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Minimum 2 years of personal training experience
• Ability to operate independently as a contractor
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
• Must carry personal liability insurance (or be willing to obtain)

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field
• Experience training middle-aged and older adults
  , including clients with orthopedic considerations
• Strong understanding of movement quality, joint health, and progressive programming
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills

• Independent Contractor status (not a W2 employee)
• Pay range based on experience $50-$85/hr.
• Paid as a percentage of net personal training revenue (no cap on potential revenue)
• Contractor is responsible for all taxes, insurance, and related expenses
• No hourly employment wages or employee benefits
