** Job Description Summary
** The Senior Quality Software Engineer is a hands-on technical contributor responsible for designing, implementing, and executing high-quality testing and automation solutions across Transamerica’s technology ecosystem. This role emphasizes test automation, CI/CD integration, and modern quality engineering practices for cloud-native, distributed systems. The Senior Quality Software Engineer collaborates closely with engineering, product, and Dev Ops teams to ensure software reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement throughout the development lifecycle.

**** Responsibilities
* ** Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions aligned with established quality standards and best practices.
* Execute functional, regression, API, and integration testing for complex applications and microservices.
* Contribute to test strategy and test plan development for assigned products or platforms.
* Develop and maintain automated tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
* Participate in code reviews and design discussions to ensure testability and quality.
* Identify, document, and track defects, performing root-cause analysis as needed.
* Collaborate with Dev Ops and platform teams to ensure reliable test execution in cloud and containerized environments.
* Support performance, reliability, and security testing efforts.
* Communicate test results, risks, and quality insights to technical stakeholders.
* Continuously improve test coverage, automation reliability, and developer feedback loops.
