Position: ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC with Security Clearance
Duties The primary purpose of this position is: to serves as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to remove, install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, and rebuild integrated electronic avionics systems where the output of a number of sensor subsystems is integrated into a logic subsystem and the resultant used to modify the operation of the total system. DUTIES:
Duty 1 - Removes, installs, modifies, overhauls, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, aligns, calibrates, and rebuilds integrated electronic avionics systems where the output of a number of sensor subsystems is integrated into a logic subsystem and the resultant used to modify the operation of the total system. Duty 2 - Performs pretest, operational (functional), or final testing of electronic systems, components, or subassemblies.

Duty 3 - (Electro-Environmental) Installs, inspects, modifies, repairs, services, replaces, adjusts and overhauls complex integrated electrical/ environmental systems, both on and off equipment, to include, but not limited to: oxygen, fire suppression, air conditioning, pressurization, ice/rain protection, bleed air systems, avionics cooling systems, cargo/mission handling, missile interface units/bomb doors, anti-skid systems, landing gear, ignition, stall warning, flight control, AC/DC power supply and distribution, Integrated Drive Generator, fuel and explosive systems.

Duty 4 - Advises engineering personnel on the operation and maintenance effects of proposed Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) and/or modifications on new or existing equipment. Duty 5 - Utilizes safety practices and tool control procedures following established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work area. Prepares/executes effective training plans to maximize training and complies with security procedures, regulations and policies.

* Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance as a condition of employment.
* If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at:  
* This position is subject to provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program
* This is a testing designated position (TDP). The employee is subject to random drug testing.
* Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays
* Shift work and emergency overtime may be required
* Employee must maintain current certifications
* Disclosure of Political Appointments
* Must be a current member of the AF Reserve or willing/qualified to join
* Leave accrual may be authorized upon request

* AFSC: 2A3X5B Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the quality level of experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards Handbook X-118C for WG-2600 Electronic Equipment Installation And Maintenance Family.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standard Handbook X-118C for the WG-2600 Electronic Equipment Installation And Maintenance Family. Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most blue-collar positions, you must meet any screen-out element listed, and show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
