What You’ll Do

As a Lead Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of company vehicles and equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel, propane, and gas-powered vehicles and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
  • Inspect, repair, and assemble mechanical components
  • Maintain service records, inventory, and order parts as needed
  • Provide guidance on preventative maintenance procedures
  • Assemble mechanical components according to specifications
  • Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades
  • Ensure vehicles meet inspection standards
  • Occasionally lift/carry materials up to 50 lbs
What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • 2+ years of experience with diesel tractors and trailers
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read and follow repair documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Vocational or trade school certification a plus
