Forklift Maintenance Technician

Essential Functions

• Check the fleet of forklifts to ensure they are safe and working properly.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including scheduled maintenance plans.
• Diagnose and repair issues with the forklift's electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems, as well as the mast and attachment components.
• Remove unsafe equipment from the facility and ensure the work area and methods meet safety requirements.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and order replacement parts when needed.
• Maintain a repair log and work orders, and complete service documents.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
• Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work.
• Must be able to physically climb on equipment, reach heights, work in extreme heat conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
