Commercial Service Technician
Commercial Service Technician will be responsible for service calls of alarm, camera and access control systems, as well as other life safety systems in new and existing buildings of all construction types. Must know how to program DSC NEO and Qolsys systems with knowledge of software.
The role requires traveling 50%-75% of the time. A company vehicle and gas card will be provided.
The pay rate for this position is up to $30 per hour, depending on experience and ability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Running service calls on existing customer systems
- Assisting the Customer Service team with answering service-related questions
- Wiring and diagnosing issues with access control systems
- Assisting the Engineering team on pre‑site walk‑throughs to determine supplies needed for installation
- Configuring IP on camera systems
- Reading and understanding blueprints and wiring schematics/diagrams
- Navigating CRM software for job details
- Operating a Surface Tablet
High school diploma or GED; working knowledge of security, surveillance and access control software applications. This includes DSC, Qolsys and
Physical DemandsEmployee is regularly required to sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms, and/or climb ladders. Work involves tools off scaffolds, ladders and confined spaces; frequent talking or hearing is required.
