Lead AV Technician Job Fort Worth area,Texas USA,Trades / Skilled Labor

Position Summary:
Anistar is seeking an experienced Lead Audio Visual Technician to lead crews for installation, termination, and testing of various types of audio visual cable and hardware.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Crimp, solder, wire pull, label, terminate, and perform other technical tasks associated with A/V systems.

Lead crews of up to 5 Technicians.

Troubleshoot and repair newly installed and existing custom AV and multimedia systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve control system programming issues.

Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.

Build out racks.

Add digital signage endpoints on existing signage systems.

Install displays (projectors/flat panels), screens, and check for basic functionality.

Load and test control code.

Configure basic control systems (e.g., Extron, Media Link, Extron Touchlink).

Load, modify, and optimize DSP files.

Accurately document field conditions at the end of projects.

Make necessary updates to system drawings based on field conditions.

Possess strong computer skills related to the Audio-Visual industry.

Travel throughout the Dallas area and work at various job sites.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and think critically.
Effective communication with team members, clients, and colleagues.
Ability to work overtime when required.
Proficiency in PC troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to climb ladders up to 35 feet, lift tools and materials, and handle equipment weighing at least 75 pounds.
