Job SummaryService Technician – 10:30 am to 7:00 pm in Fort Worth, TX. The technician diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, and other failures in trucks and related equipment.
Essential Position Functions and Principal Accountabilities- Use precision instruments, technical shop machines, and diagnostic tools.
- Read and understand technical publications, online service software, and service bulletins.
- Determine component usability, list and order parts using the dealer management system.
- Complete work accurately and within published time standards.
- Write a clear description of all work performed in the dealer management system.
- Perform all job aspects safely in accordance with OSHA and company rules.
- Maintain punctuality and attendance.
- Steward company tools and resources.
- Achieve and maintain required certifications.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong reading and writing skills in English.
- Experience operating computer diagnostic devices, laptops, and tablets.
- More than 2 years of service technician experience.
- Ability to maneuver around trucks for inspection and repair.
- Pass physical and drug/alcohol screens during pre‑employment and as required.
- Lift up to 50 lbs at the waist and up to 25 lbs at the shoulder.
