TDS provides mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control construction, testing, and start‑up and commissioning services to the Power Generation, Oil & Gas/Petrochemical, Heavy Process, and other Industrial end markets.
We are a dynamic and rapidly growing company in search of skilled Industrial I&C Technicians to join our team to support multiple new Gas Pipeline Compressor Station sites in the Midwest.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble, construct, install, and maintain industrial instrumentation and digital control systems & related infrastructure according to specifications.
- Safely use hand and power tools, metering equipment, and precision instruments.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within defined timelines.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Proven experience as an Instrumentation & Controls Technician in an industrial environment with a focus on the assembly, construction, installation, and maintenance/troubleshooting of heavy industrial instrumentation and controls equipment.
- Strong electrical aptitude, understanding of power systems and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites within the U.S.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in industrial instrumentation and controls construction and/or maintenance within O&G Pipeline Facilities/Infrastructure, Heavy Process Industrial/ O&G, or Petrochemical environments.
- Knowledge of industry‑specific electrical code, regulations, and/or standards.

Schedule:
6-12 hours Mon–Sat
Pay‑rate:
Based upon experience
Overtime:
Yes, 1.5× on all overtime hours
Per Diem:
Yes, $191/day for 7 days per week
Mob/Demob:
Yes, $1500 each way
