* * Responsibilities
* ** Review project documents for understanding of various plumbing systems, system materials and systems installation requirements, including Med Gas.
* Lay-out of pipe locations, slopes, sleeves, penetrations, hangers, and final connections.
* Performing and understanding of safe trenching, trenching lay-out, digging, and back filling.
* Install and repair various pipe systems, copper, pex, cast iron, plastics, steel, and specialty products utilizing a variety of joint techniques. Solder, braze, threaded, grooved, solvents and cements, press, and mechanical fasteners.
* Perform safe pipe test procedures. Not limited to water, air or nitrogen and understanding gauge readings to determine leakage if any.
* Setting of fixtures such as sinks, toilets, tubs, pumps water heaters, water storage tanks, grease traps and others.
* Ability to measure and make material lists for work areas.
* Work safe and efficiently with Dyna Ten and all project team members.
* Participate in training, safety training and mentoring and directing apprentices and other project team members.
* Maintain and Support project team with a safe and clean work environment, personal protection equipment (PPE), company tools, rentals, and personal hand tools.
* Involved in determining workforce needs and the effective use of all department resources.
* Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and processes.
** Requirements
* ** Current valid Texas Plumbing Journeyman License with Med Gas Endorsement.
* Required Hand tools for craft tasks.
* OSHA 10 (Dyna Ten will certify if needed).
* Reliable transportation.
* Equipment operator a plus.
* Lift up to 80 pounds, or handle heavier items with team, lifts, work on ladders and platforms and in small areas and heights.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Commitment to integrity and quality, carry a positive attitude and self-motivation.
* Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.

** Working Conditions
** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, squat, bend, and lift for extended periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand, and finger skills in the use working with tools. Wear protective equipment (PPE) and work clothing and boots. This job will require physical exertion, such as climbing, lifting, and carrying heavy objects, reach with arms and/or hands.

This position is performed in a non-climate-controlled temperature environment, working offsite at various construction sites, and building locations. Position expectations to work full 40-hour work weeks and maintain a flexible work schedule to achieve project objectives.
