Learn more:  As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet team members and visitors while performing entry screening, checking credentials, monitoring access points, and documenting security-related activity using a computer and/or tablet.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, and drivers at entry points by verifying identification, checking credentials, and confirming authorization for site access.
• Inspect packages, parcels, and shipments as required using approved screening methods and equipment, and document findings per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services, and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
