Provides direct security and related public services.

• Maintain the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, patients and visitors, and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property. Provide supervision for at‑risk patients in the hospital environment.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

• Completed High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
• Strong visual abilities (color, peripheral, depth, focus).
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., and help restrain or lift a person.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian’s company driving guidelines (for driving roles).
• Texas Guard Card required.
• Previous work experience with the public in a service setting (desired).

For applicable roles, prior employment must be verified through our background vendor. Candidates may be required to provide proof of employment such as pay stubs or W‑2s if any employment cannot be confirmed.

Work hours vary depending on assignments, client schedules, and business needs. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week. The environment may be fast‑paced and stressful or quiet and slow‑paced; all require alertness and ability to perform under pressure. The employee must be able to sit, stand, walk for variable amounts of time during a shift, use hands to handle objects, reach, climb stairs, and occasionally lift 25 lbs.
