Starting pay for this position is $18.00/hr.

A security lead is responsible for the team leadership and execution of security operations to protect people, property, and assets. This role oversees a small team of security personnel, develops and enforces policies and procedures, and ensures compliance with applicable laws and organizational standards. The team lead works closely with the site supervisor to maintain a safe and secure environment.

• Lead, manage, and develop security teams, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Design and implement security strategies, policies, and standard operating procedures
• Oversee daily security operations, incident response, and emergency management plans
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative measures to mitigate threats
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Manage security budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
• Prepare reports and provide regular updates to senior leadership
• Create and manage schedules for the site

• Proven experience in security management or leadership
• Strong knowledge of security operations, risk management, and emergency response
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
