As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Fort Worth, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a highly visible presence, and respond to incidents with calm, professional communication. You will support access control, assist travelers and staff, and document security-related activity clearly. - Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a transportation location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and public partners as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of terminals, gates, ticketing areas, baggage areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and controlled areas, check identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry and prohibited activity.
- Complete required reports such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
