Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an armed patrol officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.
* Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
* Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain control over who enters and exits the location.
* Carry out assigned duties as an armed patrol officer in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and client requirements specific to an aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
* Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas if applying in Texas.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
