Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment for all personnel.
You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding the values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. This role requires carrying a firearm as part of your responsibilities. Position Type:

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the location to help to deter unauthorized activities.
* Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activities or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
* Control access to restricted areas and verify identification as required for the location.
* Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and other security-related equipment in accordance with company and client policies.
* Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and the client.
* Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as needed during critical incidents or emergencies.
* Participate in ongoing training to remain current on security-related procedures, protocols, and equipment usage.
Minimum Requirements:
* At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
* An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
* Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
* Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
