F. Schumacher & Co., also known as FSCO, is the parent company to many brands within our portfolio. This role is part of Schumacher North America, which is the largest division of the company.

About the Role

The Studio Sales Lead role serves as the primary Schumacher representative and keyholder in the Fort Worth, Texas studio and is responsible for driving sales, delivering exceptional client service, and overseeing daily showroom operations.

At least in the near‑term, the Studio Sales Lead will be the sole FSCO representative at the studio and will act as a key holder, responsible for opening and closing the space. The role reports directly to the Managing Director, Mid‑Atlantic. Future add‑to‑staff decisions for the Fort Worth studio will be considered in time, and in coordination with the Studio Sales Lead and Managing Director.

Success in this role is defined by strong sales performance, operational excellence, consistent follow‑through, and meaningful relationship‑building within the interior design community.

Sales & Business Development
  • Grow sales through proactive outreach, client engagement, and project follow‑up
  • Collaborate closely with the Account Executive to develop new business and service existing accounts
  • Conduct strategic outreach to identify new opportunities and move leads through the sales funnel
  • Follow up daily on project shops, quotes, and reserves to drive conversion
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline by tracking contacts, shops, reserves, quotes, and orders
  • Place sample requests and curate product groupings to support client projects
  • Log all outreach and follow‑up activity accurately in the Contact Log
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets
Client Service & Brand Representation
  • Act as a polished, professional brand ambassador for Schumacher
  • Provide high‑touch, personalized service to trade clients across textiles, wall coverings, rugs, trim, and furniture
  • Assist clients with product selections, sampling, quoting, and order placement
  • Deliver white‑glove service to both residential and commercial clients
  • Ensure thoughtful and timely follow‑up to convert sampling into closed orders
  • Continuously build product knowledge and stay current on Schumacher collections
Showroom Operations & Studio Management
  • Serve as the primary on‑site FSCO representative and point of contact for the studio
  • Act as a key holder, responsible for opening and closing the studio
  • Maintain the showroom floor, including hanging new products and removing discontinued items
  • Manage showroom collateral and supplies (marketing materials, shopping bags, etc.)
  • Maintain sample room inventory, including ordering and filing replenishments
  • Handle client sample requests in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Support general showroom needs, projects, and day‑to‑day operations
