• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on the assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend items for sale and trade‑up or companion items.
• Process purchases, voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as directed.
• Implement asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise. Complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with proper placement and stock rotation of consumable items according to first‑in, first‑out.
• Use store systems and equipment with working knowledge.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport, poster print, and creative machine services.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities: monitor orders, fill orders (pick items), and deliver orders to customers.
• Assist with interior and exterior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, and orderly store condition.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete performance improvement plans as requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
