Sous Chef

Job Summary

SOUS CHEF (FULL TIME) – Eurest USA, Fort Worth, TX. Assists the Executive Chef, prepares and cooks foods, coordinates kitchen activities, and manages kitchen associates.

• Prepare and cook food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervise hourly food‑service associates – interview, schedule, payroll, train, and counsel.
• Store and handle food safely in compliance with corporate, state, and federal food‑safety procedures.
• Maintain proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and temperature.
• Keep equipment, supplies, and utensils clean and sanitized; maintain workspace.
• Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
• Explain menu items to associates and customers.
• Track inventory and product usage; notify supervisor when supplies are low.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Prior commercial kitchen experience required.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Experience with payroll, scheduling, and training is desirable.

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour.
