We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with skills in management, staff training, and customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Supervise staff and provide training on food preparation, customer service, and safety protocols.
  • Oversee inventory control and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Handle cash management and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food production and quality control.
  • Manage shift schedules and assist in hiring new staff members through interviewing processes.
  • Foster a positive work atmosphere that encourages teamwork and professional development.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a restaurant management role within a full-service restaurant.
  • Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail.
  • Background in fine dining or upscale dining environments is preferred.
  • Experience in staff training, development, and team management.
  • Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining quality service standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service excellence.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Serve Safe Managers and TABC Certification required.
