Dickies Arena is a 14,000 seat, spectacular multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The arena is owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by the not-for-profit operating entity, Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC).
OverviewBartenders are responsible for taking and preparing drinks for guests and delivering exceptional service to bar patrons. This part‑time, event‑based position is located within the Concessions Department of Dickies Arena. Hours fluctuate depending upon the arena event schedule.
Responsibilities- Mix standard cocktail recipes and maintain pour levels while multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced environment.
- Set‑up, maintain, and break down the bar for each event, ensuring proper cleaning standards.
- Know the menu and food items offered at the concession location worked each night.
- Conduct accurate inventory during each shift and perform liquor counts.
- Complete daily paperwork to support inventory and ordering procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation is completed for each shift, including temperature logs, inventory sheets, void sheets, spoilage tracking, bottle‑for‑bottle, etc.
- Understand and maintain responsible alcohol service and proper sanitation and food safety.
- Be visible and ready to assist guests as needed and help maintain excellent customer service.
- Other responsibilities and tasks as deemed appropriate by the Management Team at Dickies Arena.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- 1–2 years’ experience in a bartending role in a fast‑paced hospitality environment preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Works well with others, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible schedule – nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.

This position requires frequent movement in and out of controlled temperature units such as refrigerators and freezers. The noise level is usually moderate. Occasionally the employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions year‑round. The employee may occasionally be required to lift up to 50 lbs. and sometimes 100 lbs. during business demands and event operations.
