Position Summary

An Andretti Dishwasher is a part‑time role responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding guest service expectations, and maintaining a fun, exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various capacities and upholding our high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean all dish and glassware for the restaurant and kitchen operations.
  • Work closely with bussers and cooks in stocking dishware and keeping dish areas clean.
  • Ensure the availability of clean plates, silverware, glasses, pots, pans, and utensils.
  • Understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain detailed cleaning standards, including sweeping, mopping, dish racks and storage areas.
  • Take out trash, replace trash bags, and wash trash cans.
  • Observe, instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and co‑workers.
  • Work as a team player in meeting guest needs and actively contribute to other departments.
  • Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Andretti policies and procedures.
  • Know facility emergency procedures.
  • Perform opening, running and closing department duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to proper uniform guidelines.
  • Display excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
  • Show eagerness to learn new skills.
Skills & Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Desire and ability to remain pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, holidays and weekends.
Physical Requirements
  • Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Perform functions requiring organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and occasional stocking up to 50 lbs.
  • Communicate quickly and accurately.
  • Work in an environment that may include bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds.
  • Manual dexterity needed to use and operate equipment.
  • Understand, follow and maintain safety standards at all times.
