CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Quality Technician II.

Type: Contract

Job Title: Quality Technician II

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Fort Worth, TX

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm

Education: Associate’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Description:

The Quality Technician II role supports quality operations through a combination of computer-based work (approximately 70%) and hands-on inspection activities (approximately 30%). This position requires strong proficiency with Microsoft Office—especially Excel and Outlook—and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, detail-oriented manufacturing environment.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a quality, manufacturing, or inspection environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook; candidates must be highly computer savvy.
  • Experience managing and investigating customer notifications (CNs), including documentation, tracking, and follow-up.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams (manufacturing, engineering, customer service) to determine root causes and support corrective actions.
  • Experience conducting receiving and in‑process inspections to verify product conformance to specifications.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools and equipment used for quality verification.
  • Ability to document inspection results and communicate non‑conformances effectively.
  • Experience supporting corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
  • Ability to maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
  • Experience supporting project‑related quality activities, including monitoring compliance and recommending process improvements.
  • Familiarity with quality audits is a plus.
